Excitement was in the air on the first day of school at the brand new Westfield River Elementary School on Jan 6. Administrators and teachers waited with anticipation for the first students to arrive. When they did, many were awestruck at their new environment.
On hand to welcome the students were Superintendent Stefan Czaporowski and other members of his central administration team and Mayor Michael McCabe.
