School Superintendent Stefan Czaporowski met with the Parent Advisory Board this week to present an overview of the budget process, which will be the focus of most School Committee meetings this winter and spring.
Czaporowski started the Parent Advisory Board, made up of at least one representative from each school and the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee, before the COVID-19 pandemic, when it met in person. Since then, the board has met virtually, which is easier for the parents, he said.
“Typically, we meet once a month. I will usually have a presentation to keep parents informed, and ask for their feedback. They will ask questions and give their input — it’s a two-way effort to provide parents with information, and also get feedback from parents,” Czaporowski said.
