Franklin Avenue Elementary School

Franklin Avenue celebrated our students' HEART behavior for the month of September with our first HEART Blast Raffle.  Students earn HEART for their Honor, Effort, Attitude, Responsibility, and Teamwork, and at the end of the month, they place the HEART tickets that they have won into the prize bags in hopes of being selected.  Franklin does not award material prizes, but instead, staff offers its time and resources.  Art projects, extra recess, lunch with a teacher, and even the principal's chair for the day are all up for raffle.  Students are excited when they are selected, and cheer on their peers even when they are not.  It is a great way to honor the every day expected behavior our students display each and every day.
