- Pencils
- Scissors & Tape
- Hardcover books
- Nice for kids to have to make a small chain reaction device, but not necessary: dominoes, Legos, tracks, cards, ping pong balls, marbles, blocks, rubber bands, tubes (toilet/paper towel), plastic containers, lids, glue, cards
