The Westfield Public Schools participates in the School Choice program. The School Choice program allows parents to send their children to schools in communities other than the city or town in which they reside. Districts may elect to accept or not to accept school choice students. Every year the Westfield School Committee decides whether it will accept new enrollments under this program.

Once your child is accepted into the Westfield Public Schools under the School Choice program, he or she is entitled to attend the Westfield Public Schools until high school graduation, voluntarily decide to withdraw or move outside the state of Massachusetts.

If during your tenure as a student in the Westfield Public Schools under the School Choice program, you happen to move into Westfield and become a resident or move to a different city, please immediately notify your school.

The Westfield Public Schools will accept school choice students in the following grades: limited openings in grades K-4, openings at Westfield Intermediate School, Westfield Middle School, and Westfield High School.
